Los Angeles, CA - September 22, 2016 -Los Angeles-based rockers NEW LANGUAGE have released a brand new video for their song "Frantic Believer." Fans can watch the stop-motion video, which the band made by taking thousands of pictures around Los Angeles, here: youtu.be/YrL8SOGyBNo.
On "Frantic Believer," singer Tyler Demorest shares: "'Frantic Believer' is an exploration of the uncertainty surrounding death and how that relates to unsound beliefs while religions push the fear of the afterlife as a means to drive belief. Particularly relating to the innate human desire to be reconnected with loved ones lost throughout a lifetime."
NEW LANGUAGE is a gritty, in-your-face rock act born in Los Angeles. The band was created by Demorest and Matt Cohen, whojoined forces with Tony Hajjar (At The Drive-In, Sparta) to produce new music. Though the three had originally intended to create an EP, their sessions together quickly turned into a summer spent recording a handful of songs that are now beginning to surface. NEW LANGUAGE's fiery brand of rock and roll calls to mind greats like Queens of The Stone Age and Foo Fighters; their sound blazes with a passion and fury unmatched by their contemporaries.
NEW LANGUAGE made their debut performance in April 2016 to a sold out crowd as direct support forGone Is Gone (Queens of the Stone Age, Mastodon, At The Drive-In) in Los Angeles, CA and has now embarked as direct support to THE USED on their 15 Year Anniversary Tourin cities across the US. NEW LANGUAGE's live lineup is Demorest (vocals, guitar), Cohen (bass), Sebastien Betley(guitar), and Martin Dovali (drums).
The band previously released an ominous and brooding video for their track "Wake Up," the first song written and released by NEW LANGUAGE, which originally debuted on TripleJ Radio by Richard Kingsmill. On "Wake Up," Demorest explains: "It's a call to action... a plea to snap out of the current haze of cultural monotony we've all come to expect and many have come to embrace."
With brash new tunes and even more touring in their future, the band is sure to find many new listeners willing to take up that call.
